Dec. 12 - The Stoke Series πΏ
On Dec.β―12 from 5β―p.m. to 7 p.m., the Sun Peaks Park Crew presents an openβformat rail jam at Base Camp Terrain Park. Skiers and riders aged seven and up can compete in junior (seven to 13) and open (14+) divisions, earn points toward the season finale Garden Party and take part in prize giveaways and a bib toss. Entry is by donation ($15) and participants must already be confident riding the terrain park and wear a helmet. Preβregistration closes Dec.11; lift tickets are not included.

Get ready to welcome the holiday season in style! The village will glitter with twinkling lights, live music and festive cheer while you stroll through shops and warm up with a hot drink.

Step into the festive mood at the Artisan Market from Friday, Dec.β―12 through Sunday, Dec.β―14 at the Sunβ―Peaksβ―Centre. This freeβadmission event features local and regional vendors offering handmade goods like textiles, paintings, jewelry, candles, holiday dΓ©cor, seafood, sweet treats and more. Itβs the perfect opportunity to discover oneβofβaβkind gifts and support the makers behind them.
Dec. 13-14 - JuggerBean Tattoo Parlour Food Bank Fundraiser π
Join JuggerBean Tattoo Parlour for their fourth annual flashβtattoo foodβbank fundraiser on Dec. 13 to 14 from 11 a.m. until closing. Bring a full cloth bag of nonβperishable food items and receive two tattoos for $40 (valued at $140), cash only. All proceeds support the local foodβbank. In 2024, the event raised over 400β―lb of food. Tattoo designs will be posted online Nov. 30.
Dec. 13 - Snow Den: Mini Retreat π§π»ββοΈ
Sun Peaks Yoga is hosting a full-day wellness event called the Snow Den: Mini Retreat on Dec. 13, inviting participants of all abilities to enjoy a variety of yoga practices, mindful movement and workshops inspired by the peaceful quiet of a snow-covered landscape. The retreat includes silent yoga, a guided silent walk with a photo challenge, a meditation workshop, yin yoga focused on stress relief, a session on connecting with your higher self and concludes with a restorative sound bath. The event runs from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. in the Morrisey Room at Hearthstone Lodge and is priced at $215 for the full day.
Dec. 13 - Restorative Sound Bath π§π»ββοΈ
Relax and restore at the Restorative Sound Bath hosted by Sun Peaks Yoga on Dec. 13 from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Morrisey Room at Hearthstone Lodge. Participants are guided through gentle, supported yoga postures while immersed in an immersive sound experience featuring crystal singing bowls, drums, chimes, flutes and nature-based tones tuned to the bodyβs energy centres. Props, pillows and blankets help ensure comfort in each pose and options for essential oils are available (notify the instructor if you prefer a scent-free session). This intimate event is limited to 15 participants and costs $60.
Dec. 14 - My Secret Santa - Community Movie Screening πΏ
Sun Peaks Resort LLP is hosting a community movie night featuring the heartwarming holiday film My Secret Santa on Friday, Dec. 12 at 6:30 p.m. in the Sun Peaks Centre Great Hall. The free screening invites families and visitors to gather, enjoy the festive film together and kick off the holiday season in a cosy, communal setting. Popcorn and hot chocolate will be available, and guests are encouraged to bring blankets and festive cheer to make the evening comfortable and fun for all ages.
Dec. 15 - Kamloops Storm Practice and Family Skate βΈοΈ
The Kamloops Storm hockey team invites families and guests to join a special Practice & Family Skate event at the Sun Peaks Arena on Dec. 15. The session features a youth-friendly team practice followed by open family skating on the same ice, creating a fun, interactive experience for skaters of all ages and skill levels. Skate rentals are typically available at the arena.
Dec. 17 - Mantles Harvest Table Wine Dinner: Moon Curser Vineyards π·
Sun Peaksβ Mantles Restaurant will host a special Harvest Table Wine Dinner on Dec. 17, featuring carefully paired wines from Moon Curser Vineyards of Osoyoos as part of its winter Grand Moments series. Guests can enjoy a four-course menu matched with locally inspired B.C. wines in an intimate dining setting, with seating limited to 12 and tickets required in advance. The event runs from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. and is open to guests 19 and older.

The Thompson-Nicola Regional Libraryβs mobile library visits Sun Peaks School every Sunday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Whitecroft Village from 2:15 p.m. to 3:15 p.m.

AA community addictions meetings run every Friday at Sun Peaks Secondary beside the Health Clinic, starting at 7:30 p.m.
