WEEKLY NEWS FOR JAN. 29

Good afternoon folks!

Save the date! The Rotary Club of Sun Peaks will host a Souper Social Feb. 11 and March 11, offering soup for takeout or dine-in in support of community members in need. I spoke with Jackie Van Vliet about the event, as well as the club’s grocery box program, run in partnership with Ohana Deli. To learn more about the food assistance program, email communitycare@rotaryclubofsunpeaks.com

I got the opportunity to chat with some of the resort’s new winter ambassadors. This is a very unique team; from competitive athletes to Indigenous representation and age variety. It was lovely getting to know them a bit better and learn what drives them. Read the story below.

Finally, if you have a moment, please fill out this survey and help guide our 2026 editorial agenda. We want to be sure we are writing stories worth reading and your feedback is vital.
