Hi there,
A big thank you to everyone who became a SPIN supporter during our Spring Supporter Drive!
Our goal was 30 new monthly supporters. We welcomed 29 new monthly and annual supporters with another six readers making one time contributions.
In this economy?! We have renewed hope for the future of independent, fact-checked local journalism.
Together, we reached our fundraising goal! If you missed the deadline, we continue to welcome any additional support, with every dollar going toward journalism.

SPIN's editor Hollie Ferguson, partnerships specialist Justin Moore, SPIN reporter Noelle Suzuki and publisher Brandi Schier speak to community members at a June farmers' market in Kamloops.
A few of you told us why you decided to pitch in:
"We read it regularly and find it a very valuable source of information."
"If we want local news & just about everybody does, itβs then important to support local news," wrote Douglas P.
Here's what your support funds next:
-
The health centre, still: Noelle will keep asking the questions you've been asking β timeline, transparency.
-
Council coverage through the October election: plain-language reporting on municipal panels, candidates, and the issues residents told us they care about most.
-
Sun Peaks life: sports, mountain culture, and the events that make this village home.
If you've been thinking about supporting, this is a good moment! |

Thank you for uplifting this community.
With gratitude, |
