Good afternoon folks,
To tag onto last week's story recapping Sun Peaks Recreational Trail Association's annual general meeting, we chatted with outgoing director of trails Jase Petersen. He's stepping back, but said he feels the association is in a good place. Scroll down to read more.
Plus, one local is hoping to open a jiu jitsu gym in Sun Peaks! Alex Morrissey is raising awareness for his goal, which he said requires a bit of community support to make a reality. Check it out below!
This season was a strong one for Sun Peaks Alpine Club, which saw a number of podium placements for local athletes. Scroll down to learn more.
Finally, as we slide into shoulder season, I wanted to reshare our article from last year which looked at how Sun Peaks navigates the quiet times. How do you celebrate shoulder season?
