If there’s one thing I’ve learned in my time reporting here, it’s that readers are educated and always ask questions that I, as a journalist, might not even think of. 

SPIN has been working on the health centre topic since July and during these six months, our readership pushed us even more to do even better journalism. When we thought that we had dug deep enough, you made us dig even deeper. 

I’m going to be very honest with you: I have never worked on anything similar. And this complicated story made me go out of my comfort zone. 

From the feedback and the questions asked, I can see that our readership cares and loves Sun Peaks. Every person who emailed us or brought up health care during market days you all have contributed to the work that we have done on covering this topic.
