WEEKLY NEWS FOR NOV. 27

Good morning folks!

It’s a beautiful morning in Sun Peaks and we are thrilled about the opening day. If you didn’t make it to today’s cinnamon buns and first lift, make sure you have Saturday marked in your calendars. Meet Harry Bear and enjoy fresh cinnamon buns while supplies last! We’d love to see your photos from the first rides.

I really enjoyed Rail Riot at TRU last week. The energy was amazing and it was great seeing the mountain culture come down to Kamloops. Read the full story below.

I also enjoyed meeting you all at the Sun Peaks Volunteer Fire Department Society Gala! I chatted with Tyne Roberts from Sun Peaks Volunteer Fire Department Society about the turn out and funds raised. She also shared a special message for the community.

“We’re so proud to host this event every year, it’s our favourite thing that we do,” Roberts said. “It wouldn’t be possible without the community members who attend regularly and the new members who join in. We really appreciate everyone’s generosity for the local charities year after year.”

Thank you,
